The latest release from Tash's Movement Ltd. welcomes Roni Iron to the label for his debut EP. Based in Athens, the Greek artist has a two-decade long career in electronic music. As a staple in the Beatport, Itunes and Traxsource sales charts, Roni has showcased his music on Balkan Connection South America, Kingstreet Sounds, Nitegrooves, Cafe de Anatolia and Retrolounge Recordings. No stranger to the Movement family, Roni's Movement Recordings debut came in 2015 with a well-received remix of Candy Lips' by T.Pals and John Teki, before going on to contribute original productions to the label's Modern Filosophy' and Technical Progress' collections. October of last year marked Roni's debut EP for the Greek imprint, with the release of Hidden Places', alongside remixes from Framework and Kintar. Now making a welcome debut on the label's Limited division, Roni presents an artist showcase entitled Reborn'.

Spread across three tracks, Roni Iron's Reborn' is an eclectic blend of electronica, organic and deep house. Emotionally compelling throughout, the journey begins with the dulcet beats, dusty percussion and soulful vocals of Lost Path'. It's mystical overtones and intriguing vocal stylings make for an irresistible first act, before cross-cultural instrumentation and emerging atmospheres blanket the proceedings for a chilling finale.

The transcendent flow continues with the deep, laid-back sounds of the Phoenix'. Possessing an alluring undercurrent; it's warm beats, soulful vocal wails and wavy synth phrasing creates a warm energetic glow. Emotive chord changes across the main break add perfectly to the narrative, as layers of exotic percussion and breezy swells push forward to a vibrant apex.

The mesmerizing Kuabubu' rounds out the release and further cements Roni's elusive vision, as cross-cultural vocals layer a foundation of organic percussion and slo-mo grooves. Spiritual in mood, it's slow burning drawl might be its strongest suit, tactfully building to a charismatic crescendo during the main break, as kaleidoscopic designs and soulful overlays accent the road home.
